“The Honey” Bible-Reading Retreat, August 25–27, 2026

Last year we found Janice in Nebraska, this year come to Illinois and meet Honey as we focus on . . .

The Wisdom and Love of God

The Basics:

You’ll make your own overnight accommodations at The Hampton Inn and Suites in Libertyville (about 10 minutes from my house) where we will have rooms blocked [give us a few days on this!] or you can pick a location of your own! We’ll meet at my house in Gurnee for meals and all of our organized time together.

You’ll enjoy the fellowship of other women and a time of quiet away from the noise of the world. No stress, no cooking, no obligations, just time with the Lord and one another . . . and, of course, Honey!

The Number:

Whoever can get there from our morning group, plus a few local ministry partners and friends.

We’ll read in small groups of four, five, or six (for Job!) people per group and switch up groups throughout the day.
